All the British bloggers came out to play in Leicester Square for an exclusive bloggers event - Bloggers Love Fashion Week.
The second and final day included different brands and designers to day 1, for instance l came across Syreeta Badu a fashion label for plus sizes. At last, we come across fashion designers who design for the size 14+. I spoke to the designer who told more her British and African fusion fashion collection and showed me several pieces which she specifically designed to compliment curvy women. It’s about time we had designers who tailored for beautiful curvy ladies.
The media has skewed the true vision of beauty and Syreeta Badu highlights you are beautiful no matter what size you are and you can still look fashionable and trendy no matter what size or shape you are. You go girl!
As l went for a wonder my eyes were drawn to an accessories brand, FYT & Co who were showcasing scarves, gloves and trendy zig zag patterned bags. The bamboos texture accessories were amazing! The lovely ladies let me wear my favourite piece - purple knit cable scarf. The lovely thing about this scarf was the soft texture, quality knit wear and the way it just stretched out and sat on my neck perfectly. Unlike most scarves, fluff didn’t stick on my clothes or bubble off, neither did it take over most of my chest area like most chunky scarves which act like neck restraint. It just dropped really nicely and you’re still able to see my neck and top - perfect! A classic piece - pick the grey if you aren’t a fan of purple.
Day 2 was busy again but with more goody bags, let’s be real about this that’s why most go to events for - free stuff. Not me though, I think I’m the only one that tries to stay away from free stuff - my rooms full enough l wouldn’t know where to put it all. However, FYT & Co were kind enough to give me the best goody of the event - a make-up bag with their multicolour themed bag prints. Thanks guys! I will definitely be using - l will upload photos very soon :)
After all that walking l needed to have a sit down and start blogging at The Vlogging Booth. I was lucky enough to meet other bloggers such as, Jessica Hau who was at The Vlogging Booth and gave me top tips on vlogging. I told her how comfortable l am about doing video blogs and any advice she had for those of you like me - her advice was to ignore everyone around you, don’t watch your video back and if it went well recording just upload it! Great advice from the video blogging pro!
As we could feel at Bloggers Fashion Week, bloggers are seen as the new champions of getting the word out their about your brand - not only are they are social media influencers but they work extremely hard to connect with their large following unlike most brands. So get in touch, connect with us - l’d love to hear from you.
