I wouldn't be bringing you the best fusion fashion if l didn’t look at western trends from the highly acclaimed fashion weeks around the world. I like to give you pre-season trends insight at your finger tips and seen as New York fashion week took to the fashion week waves l had to check out the everyday fashion it showcased for the real British Asian woman.
One of my favourite trends has to be the long waistcoat with contrasting lining. Narciso Roriguez tops it off perfectly with trousers to match the inner jacket lining. If we look closer at the trousers, straight cut and high waisted is on trend for Autumn & Winter 2016.
The simplest mixes of fabric can create the most elegant looks and that's why l had to feature Oscar De La Renta's off white blouse fused with a fur panel print skirt. If you were not a short skirt girl like me, l would suggest tops or jackets with fur panelling on sections.
If your looking for a everyday look for the school run, work or just lounging at home l would suggest Lela Rose's AW16 combination. It starts with a basic white shirt, a curvy edged cardigan that isn't too fitted and add a grey skirt that falls on your body modestly. For modest fashion just ensure the skirt is maxi and a jersey fabric. The main focal point on this outfit is the belt, so don't scrimp on choosing the perfect one as it can make or break the outfit.
