Day 2 of Telenor Fashion Pakistan Week 2015 (TFPW15) was full of hidden surprises and show stoppers. Check out the latest trends right here ladies!

The Pakistani Princess with Zaheer Abbas

In the past I’ve appreciated Zaheer Abbas’ fashion concepts and craftsmanship. My heart always told me he was one to watch as l could always see tones of world class potential. Then during this years Telenor Fashion Pakistan Week 2015 (TFPW15) Zaheer Abbas supraised us all when he blow us away with his enthralling ‘primavera’ collection.

Zaheer Abbas used white as a canvas to transform imagery of spring and elements of weather into fashion, from intricate hand embroideries to elaborate fabric manipulation. The fashion was segmented into contemporary fashion we could wear during the day and luxury fashion ideal for special occasions or evening.

Zaheer Abbas combines the softness of organza & chiffon with luxurious silks, dipped into a rare combination of whites. There's too many to pick as my favourites but for an everyday British with Asian inspired fashion fusion l would have to pick the floral trouser suits, maxi dress and inner floral printed jacket ensemble. For most of the looks simplicity is key yet with focal fashion pieces such as, lace jackets and spring prints on either trouser or blouse.

This exquisite collection is perfect for all you ladies in SS15 and currently in my top 3 of my favourites collections of TFPW15.

East Meets West with Gul Ahmed

Avanti by Gul Ahmed is for the modern woman who loves style and glamour. The collection exudes regality with strong and subtle metallic colours, beautifully balanced, and gorgeous materials.

The colour palette has sumptuous shades of white and gold with a touch of black in the outfits. The fusion pieces are inspired by traditional clothing of subcontinent such as Angharkhas and Shirwanis. The line also derives inspiration from other popular clothing items from the east such as Dhoti Shalwar, Saari, and Lehengas.

The outfit cuts, however, have an original twist on the traditional clothing style by incorporating contemporary and modern designs.

The fabrics are a trademark of Gul Ahmed: from the softest of lawn to luxurious silks. The materials are limitless including flowy chiffons, traditional banarsi, and elegant cotton silks.

For all those who love stunning designer fashion, Gul Ahmed is set to impress.

The Hypnotic Goddess by Fahad Hussayn

We haven’t seen anything like it as Fashion Pakistan Week but Fahad Hussayn showed us he shouldn’t be underestimated in the global fashion industry and delivered an extraordinary collection.

DOMINIONATRIX – DECODED SS15 is derived from the structure and hierarchy of a mythical dominion and the matrix of its construction. The design gathered a mastered mix of the gardens of Eden blended in with representation of cathedral design detailing and glorification of architecture.

Fahad Hussayn’s TFPW15 SS15 collection featured a luxurious blend of ready to wear and couture with pristine embroideries and exquisite tailoring. The master craftsmen, Fahad Hussayn hand embroidered silk and metallic thread embroideries paired with delicate precious Swarovski crystals and floral 3D embellished cutouts in gold and silver paired with two different colour pallets to complement each. If you look close enough you can see the woven twist and 3D circularly knit metallic embroidered florals as accents to elevate the garments to another level.

The signature Fahad Hussayn drapes and opulent recreations of classic archaic beauty transformed into modern fashionable silhouettes reflects a confident yet daring women ready to take on the world.
