My High Street Picks SS14

TrendsSara K

On Saturday l took Sid to my favourite Italian in North London, while we were on our way we decided to pop into the shopping centre to see what the high street had to offer us British Asians this Summer. I have tried to find pieces that have an Asian flavour from casual to party and seen as l love accessorising l thought it best throw in an bag.

High street

l found a practical casual black and white long kameez style top in Mango (image 1.) When viewing up close it did have elements of Asian print and design the picture doesn’t do it justice because you can’t really see the detailing on the neck area. Mango added a waist to the kameez however, you can always take it off or change it up with a different belt or even tuck it in if your going to work and wearing black trousers.

When l saw this next dress l instantly thought partywear and fell in love with Mango’s red evening dress (image 2). It was made from chiffon fabric and integrated crouched detailing on the panels of he dress was fashion fab. l couldn’t help but touch it up, although Sid (sis) will tell you l love touching up fabric :D It’s definitely a classic evening piece.

How could not feature my fav fashion accessory handbags!!! Sid wanted to pop into Aldo to check out the shoes and noticed they had a wide range of bags and jewellery. My personal fav was the black and gold detailing bag. Well, you know how much l love my gold detailed pieces.
