If your looking for some Eid inspiration for your last minute shopping look no further as l have the top trends for you. I take a look at the recent Indian fashion week designer's who showcased at Lakme Fashion week to give us an idea what we should be wearing for those Asian parties! And as l said, don't forget Eid isn't too far either.

Party with Payal Singhal

Payal Singhal seizes to amaze us with another show stopping practical party collection. If you need to be inspired by anyone it's this Indian designer. The modern lengha skirts draped with chiffon fabric jackets and innovative cape drape blouses.

If you prefer the look more subtle look plain shimmer fabrics with diamante/mirror work on edges of your dupatta or dress  will look elegant. You can always add sparkly shoes and a clutch to spice things up. The key with subtle outfits it tailoring and the cut yet not forgetting to mention the detail in the detailed parts of the dress.

My No.1 Look this Eid by SVA

Traditional Dazzle with Kiran Uttam Ghosh

I enjoyed Kiran Uttam Ghosh's collection at Lakme as the designer combines traditional Indian fashion with silhouettes of a modern twang. The fitted white dress paired with a saree wrap was one of my favourites and chiffon dupatta transformed into a cape couldn't go a miss. I'm inspired!

Accessorise with Nitya

And finally how could l forget, don't forget to accessorise! As Nitya shows us you can wear quirky plan fabrics and pair with heavy quirky jewellery you can find on the high street. River Island, Aldo, Primark, H&M and Topshop all do statement jewellery pieces between 7 GBP to 50 GBP. It's great if you can't go Pakistan or India to get embroidery, pearls and diamantes sewn on your dress. Plus it adds a lovely new dimension you will be proud of.

I hope you enjoy reading the magazine, as much as I loved sharing the hidden fashion gems and supporting women promoting their fashion business. I'm always on the lookout for inspirational women running or thinking of starting up a fashion business. If you're one, please get in touch and you can join me at one of my exclusive meetups for women with fashion businesses.
