If you're looking for elegant bridal, party or Eid outfit ideas, Pakistani designer, Sania Maskatiya's latest middle-eastern inspired collection featured at Beirut Fashion Week is ideal for inspiration.
You may be thinking, that's a bit too much for Eid or parties, although if you're anything like me you flick through magazines and websites searching for trends, inspiration and ideas to make your next masterpiece. You may not be able to fork out for runway fashion and that's fine you only wear it once why to pay hundreds or thousands.
Do what I do use runway collections to help you visualise your next outfit, see it as a guideline and even take notes of trends e.g. cuts and fabrics to create your own. For instance, I would have never thought bootcut banarasi trousers would work well as we are used to cigarette trousers, let alone match it with a heavy peplum kameez (second to the last photo) yet it's a dazzling outfit for parties. I wouldn't have ever tried that but now I will. I may not go that heavy, depends on the occasion but I now have my own vision I want to create with the Sania Maskatiya inspiration. And I hope it helps you to bring your Eid, party or bridal vision to life.
I hope you enjoy reading the magazine, as much as I loved sharing the hidden fashion gems and supporting women promoting their fashion business. I'm always on the lookout for inspirational women running or thinking of starting up a fashion business. If you're one, please get in touch and you can join me at one of my exclusive meetups for women with fashion businesses.
