If you're looking for the latest practical fashion trends in Pakistan look no further. It's been scorching hot in the UK recently and I've selected my top three fashion picks for you to wear this summer. Not to worry they are trendy, affordable and practical even if you're looking for something to wear to dinner, out with friends and who says you can't look great at home too.
Now let's get down to business... your most likely to have come across these next designers but have you seen their latest collections? And thanks to the power of digital technology and, of course, the old-fashioned post man, they are available to the UK too!
1. Sana Safinaz
I'm a big fan of Sana Safinaz's affordable silk collection. On the website she sells unstitched fabric and ready-to-wear silk garments, for example, l found unstitched suits and then ready-made silk tunics. The British Asian fusion look is prominent in the SS15 silk collection and priced generously as most of the kameezes range between 52 GBP and 110 GBP. The simpler dressed are priced lower than the trendy wide sleeves and waist belt gathered tunics. It's not bad considering their silk fashion pieces.
2. Maria. B
Maria. B's latest collection features digital print inspiration from France, Morocco, Greece and Persia. My favourites in the lawn collection had to be the dress jacket suits which are not only on trend but contrasting colours and prints add that Pakistani fashion fusion many of you may be searching for. The prices of the suits range from 35 to 38 GBP and are unstitched fabrics only so when buying consider the tailoring cost too. You'll definitely need a good tailor who can sew from an image Maria. B would provide. It's certainly still cheap as chips for a suit!
3. Zaheer Abbas
This next designer was recently featured on the latest Pakistan fashion week for his superb Printology collection. I've featured the two-way jacket dress and it does exactly what it says, it's two beautiful jackets in one. This Printology runway collection is slightly pricier than the other two but certainly worth it as l am sure it's the highest quality and fabric. For 257 GBP, you're not just purchasing a clothing piece but it's a classic piece. And you can wear with jeans, trousers, dress it up, dress it down, dress it in, dress it out well you get the idea.
If that's totally out of your budget, not to worry Zaheer Abbas offers an affordable lawn collection of kurta tunics. My two favourites for under 40 GBP are sold out, but Zaheer Abbas kindly offered to contact me when they are back in stock. Whereas feel free to check out the other lawn pieces as they may be of fancy to you.
